Shea Hogan, MD is an Interventional Cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine-Cardiology in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, as well as a faculty member of CPC Clinical Research, an Academic Research Organization affiliated with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Shea Hogan is a native of Michigan and earned her BA at Kalamazoo College with a double major in Biology and History. She then completed all her medical training (medical school, residency, general cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship) at the University of Michigan. After spending one year in private practice, she joined the Cardiology Division at Denver Health, a position she loves and continues to hold. During her time at Denver Health, Dr. Hogan has become comfortable managing complex, severe cardiovascular disease, and has developed a keen interest in the management of critical limb ischemia (CLI).
In July 2018 she founded (and continues to lead) the Denver Health Limb Salvage Program– a multidisciplinary group involving podiatry, infectious disease, endocrinology, wound care, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Her interest in this field and desire to improve diagnosis and management of CLI prompted her to pursue a Masters in Clinical Science at the University of Colorado Denver, which she expects to complete in the Winter 2021. Dr. Hogan is extremely excited and honored to be part CPC Clinical Research group,
When she is not working Dr. Hogan’s favorite activity is spending time with her amazing husband and two beautiful, spirited girls.
